Zisman Bowyer & Partners LLP is an award-winning, multi-disciplinary consultancy, providing engineering and acoustics solutions for the built environment. Based in Richmond in Surrey, the practice was formed in 1958, becoming a Limited Liability Partnership in November 2004.

The practice specialises in the design, monitoring and commissioning of mechanical, electrical and public health building services for new build and refurbished schemes as well as provides expert advice on acoustics, sustainability, low carbon solutions, thermal simulation and building energy performance.

ZBP employs over 70 highly qualified, multi-disciplinary staff with wide experience in complex services design work. Several of our senior staff are members of CIBSE's Low Carbon Consultants Register and are trained Low Carbon Energy Assessors.

ZBP offers its services to public and private sector clients operating in the UK and overseas, and across a wide range of business sectors including commercial, healthcare, research, heritage, education, retail, leisure and residential.

The firm operates a Quality Assurance Management System accredited to BS EN ISO 9001:2008, which now links procedures to processes within a fully interactive Process Information Management System (PIMS).

ZBP is a corporate member of BSRIA, CIBSE, the APS, ANC and ACE. It is also an accredited designer under the CHAS (Contractor Health and Safety) Assessment Scheme.

ZBP has been, and continues to be, an industry leader in collaborative working, both with its clients and within its design and construction teams and the supply chain. The practice has been involved in the Teamwork initiative, the Avanti programme, and is represented on the board of the UK chapter of ‘buildingSMART', formerly the International Alliance for Interoperability.
